The Darkstar Laser Arena in St.Helens

Darkstar Ultimate Laser Arena is the biggest and most exciting Laser Tag Arena in the UK.
Based on the classic 90’s sport of laser tag, Darkstar, the venue in Central St. Helens has pioneered it’s exhilarating successor: Ultimate Laser Tag. Taking the concept of chasing your friends around a dark arena with laser guns, Darkstar has given the sport a massive technological upgrade. This provides a level of sophistication in the gameplay that enhances the experience for both novices and veterans with features such as real-time scoring being provided to each player. The game arena is a fantastic space, rising to over 3 stories in height using the advanced "Hex Arena" construction system to create a highly disorientating environment.
The games themselves have a breakneck pace and intensity to them as up to 40 players at a time compete, with shots coming from every direction and laser beams constantly criss-crossing overhead. Darkstar is suitable for anyone aged 7 years upwards - indeed it's a regular sight for 3 generations of the same family to be taking each other on. There's no need to book in advance, but bookings are recommended at busy times such as weekend afternoons.

After you've worked up an appetite with a game or two then you need head no further than Cosmo’s Bar & Pizzeria that forms part of the Darkstar facility. This beautifully furnished restaurant serves fantastic Italian style pizzas, hand-made to order as well as a range of pastas and side dishes. The bar serves a wide selection of bottled beers, wines, coffees, soft drinks and houses a luxury ice cream bar.

Darkstar specialises in providing fantastic parties for children and adults alike. The Darkstar venue can also be exclusively hired for corporate events and large group functions as an exciting alternative day out.
